Study possibilities exist with the art and architectural resources of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the Joseph and Margaret Muscarelle Museum of Art and other art museums throughout the region.
A number of work possibilities exist through the Student Aid Program, affording students experience in assisting with the art, art history and museum programs.
In addition to regular classes, workshops in various media are offered annually, usually in connection with exhibitions and symposia. The department hosts a lively Faculty Lecture Series complimented by distinguished visiting artists and scholars from across the nation and abroad.
