Brittany, from Jacksonville, Florida, received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida with a major in Anthropology.  Her field work was completed at Kingsley plantation in Jacksonville, Fl.  While attending the University of Florida she served as a lab assistant for the University’s archaeology lab as well as the Florida Museum of Natural History. She received her Master’s from William and Mary in 2013. Her current endeavors include RSRFP ( Remembering Slavery Resistance and Freedom Project) and her own dissertation research .
