Standardized Testing

We know you’re anything but standard, so the SAT/ACT is just one optional part of your application.

 

Optional Exam(s) for Freshman Applicants
Exam(s) An SAT or ACT is completely optional. (The test can be reported directly from the testing agency or self-reported on application. All enrolling students may submit an official SAT or ACT score report.)  Note: 40% of the Class of 2027 applied test-optional.
SAT Middle 50% range for Class of 2027 1370-1510 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math out of 1600)
Middle 50% range for Class of 2027 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) 700-750
Middle 50% range for Class of 2027 (Math) 670-760
ACT Middle 50% range for Class of 2027 32-34 (Overall Composite Score out of 36)
SAT or ACT Writing Not required. A student’s writing ability is assessed through the essay(s) submitted with their application.

Taking Multiple Tests

Additionally, for both the SAT or the ACT, we will superscore if taken multiple times.  If scores from both the SAT and the ACT are submitted, we will use the examination result that is most advantageous for an applicant’s case for admission.

English Language Proficiency Exams
TOEFL or IELTS Exam

Highly recommended for international students for whom English is not the first language.

AP/IB Exams and A-Levels
