To apply for aid for the St. Andrews Joint Degree Programme, follow the instructions for new and transfer students.
Financial aid is available to students who apply for admission to the William & Mary St. Andrews Joint Degree Programme. Students who apply for admission directly through St. Andrews are not eligible for financial aid as a William & Mary student. In most cases, we are able to meet full financial need for Virginia residents through a combination of grants and loans. Qualifying out-of-state students may receive up to 25% of their full cost of attendance in grant aid in addition to other federal aid. Students interested in the St. Andrews Programme will initially be awarded financial aid as if they were a standard William & Mary student. This is the aid package the student will receive during periods of enrollment at William & Mary.
Soon after being admitted into the William & Mary St. Andrews Programme, a second aid package will be determined. This second notification outlines the aid available while enrolled at St. Andrews. The purpose of these two notifications is to help you decide which program (St. Andrews Joint Degree or Regular W&M) is best for your financial situation. When you make your enrollment deposit, you will indicate which program you wish to enter. An award notification for the regular W&M program will be sent via e-mail once you are admitted. The award notice for the St. Andrews Joint Degree Programme will be sent via regular US mail.
