About
Huajie Shao, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds an M.S. in control engineering from Zhejiang University and a B.S. in automation from Jiangnan University. His research interests are data mining and machine learning, with a focus on mining social-sensing data, in which humans are used as sensors to collect information about physical events such as disasters or protests.
