About
Bjorg Larson, Lecturer of Physics, obtained her Ph.D. in optical physics from Stony Brook University. Previously she was an Associate Professor of physics at Drew University; and conducted postdoctoral research in biomedical engineering at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where she focused on clinical imaging systems and earned a patent for a confocal strip-mosaicking microscope for cancer diagnostic imaging. She will teach the introductory physics for life sciences course sequence and support the Engineering Physics and Applied Design major concentration through her research.
