Dominick Ciruzzi
Assistant Professor of Biology
About
Dominick Ciruzzi, Assistant Professor of Biology, obtained his Ph.D. in geological engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, then transitioned into postdoc and lecturer roles in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at UW-Madison. Through fieldwork, numerical modeling, and remote-sensing approaches, his ecohydrology research investigates how vegetation processes affect water pathways in groundwater, soil, and streams; and, conversely, how changes to the water cycle affect ecosystem structure, function, and services. He will be teaching courses in physical geology and hydrology.
