We are pleased to announce that Arturo Castellanos has joined the Operations and Information Systems Management area within the Raymond A. Mason School of Business as an Assistant Professor. Arturo comes to us from Baruch College (CUNY) in the Department of Information Systems and Statistics and his research interests include Business Analytics, FinTech, Blockchain, Systems Analysis and Design, Conceptual Modeling, and Databases. He has published his work in top IS journals including MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and Decision Support Systems. He has taught courses on Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, and will be teaching courses on Big Data and Prescriptive Analytics in the Spring. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Systems and Business Analytics and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida International University in Miami, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Navarra in Spain. We are looking forward to having Arturo join the OISM department and the MSOB team!
