Gi Sang Yoon

Visiting Assistant Professor of Immunology

Gi Sang Yoon, Visiting Assistant Professor of Immunology, earned his Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Prior to joining William & Mary, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy. His research focuses on understanding how therapeutic molecules can modulate the mammalian immune response and energy metabolism to enhance protection or treatment against inflammatory diseases. His teaching assignments will include courses in Immunology such as the modulation of the immune response and other selected topics in immunology, health, and medicine.
