Mark McGarvie

Visiting Professor of Law

Mark McGarvie, Visiting Professor of Law, received his Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington, M.A. from Marquette University, J.D. from Marquette University, and B.A. from Northwestern University. He previously served as Research Scholar at the Institute of Bill of Rights Law and Visiting Professor of Law at the Law School, and has taught Early American Legal History, Christian Influences on American Law, Employment Discrimination Law, and a section of Legal Writing. His current research and writing projects include an intellectual biography of St. George Tucker, jurist, law professor, and legal scholar of the early republic. He will teach Law and Religion.
