Iria Giuffrida, Visiting Assistant Professor of Law - A native of Sicily, Iria Giuffrida comes to the Law School from London. She received her law degree from Queen Mary, University of London, in 2001, her LL.M. from William & Mary Law School in 2002 as our Draper Scholar, and her Ph.D. in Law at Queen Mary, University of London in 2009. She has practiced law in the United Kingdom for the last ten years specializing in EU law and alternative dispute resolution. Iria will be teaching judges and lawyers in the U.S., Canada, and the EU about legal issues arising from Artificial Intelligence and the Internet-of-Things, and during the fall semester, she will teach our students International Arbitration.
