Angelica Serna

Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies


Angélica Serna, Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies, earned her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2018. She is a Peruvian scholar of the indigenous cultures of Latin America whose research interests include the colonial archive, as well as material culture and circulation in the emergence of Quechua writing. This fall she will teach a sophomore seminar on indigeneity as well as the Introduction to Hispanic Cultural Studies.
