Noel Blanco Mourelle, Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies, is a specialist in theories of religious conversion and universalism, political theology, and the history of the book. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Latin American & Iberian Cultures at Columbia University, an M.A. in Arts et Languages from the EHESS (France), and a B.A. in Romance Philology from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He will teach courses in literary and cultural studies, with a focus on medieval texts, and the commitment to bridge the culture of the past with current social questions.
