Office of Planning & Assessment
at the College of William & Mary

ASSESSMENT TOOLS

The Office of Planning & Assessment conducts and facilitates assessment studies based on university academic priorities. Some of the methodologies used in assessment studies include student and alumni surveys, focus group interviews, course portfolios, external reviews, and transcript analyses. Results of assessment studies are shared with the Provost and other relevant offices and committees for the purposes of planning and budgeting. Results also are included in reports to the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and other external agencies.
