Currently, the Center offers a formal internship through the CRM Internship Program to graduate students in William and Mary's Anthropology Department. MA and MA/PhD students receive practicum training in cultural resource management (CRM) and public archaeology. The interns also gain exposure to the WMCAR’s resources, including a modern office and archaeological laboratory facility, a wide range of field and laboratory equipment, a large library of CRM reference material and technical reports, and a knowledgeable staff. This competitive internship with stipend is offered to one graduate student per semester. If you are interested in applying, please contact the Center's director for more details.
Less formal opportunities volunteer and paid opportunities may be available for undergraduate and graduate students as well. Availability of these situations depends both on the student's experience and skills, and the types of projects in progress at the Center. Please contact the director for more information.
