This 30th Anniversary Season of the Virginia Shakespeare Festival will feature several special events -
VSF Musical Benefit Night
Tuesday, July 15, 2008
PBK Hall 8pm
As has been the great tradition of the past five years, the VSF Company, under the direction of Gary Green, puts together an evening of musical numbers for your entertainment, with all proceeds to benefit the festival. You'll find our professional Shakespearean actors also have a good bit of song & dance in their bones, along with some great instrumental musicianship. From madrigals to Broadway show tunes, the evening is a delightful look at the "other side" of this talented company of actors. Put it on your calendar now! Admission by donation, pay what you can.

Sunday, November 2nd - 7:30pm - PBK Hall
THE SONG REMEMBERS WHEN - a musical revue
starring Tony Award & Golden Globe winner Linda Lavin
Acclaimed stage, film, and television actress Linda Lavin brings her musical party of a show to the PBK stage, where it all began for her as a student at William & Mary. Best know to the world for her nine year run in the title role of the hit TV series "Alice", Ms. Lavin is a veteran of scores of Broadway shows, including her recent Drama Desk Award for The New Century, which just closed its stellar run at Lincoln Center. She brings her show to Williamsburg for one night only as a benefit for the 30th Anniversary of the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.
Liz Smith of the New York Post exlaims about the show "You won't want to miss Lavin's bravura Diva performance. She is spectacular!"
Tickets: $35, $45 - available through the VSF box office at (757) 221-2674 or click here to purchase tickets online.
