The University Center actively recruits students to fill positions twice each year. In October, staff are selected to begin work in January, and in March employees are chosen for the summer and fall semesters. The Student Supervisor positions and A/V positions are determined by a formal application and interview process.
The University Center is open ALL YEAR. In the summer, the College host conferences and workshops. The Center provides space and services for these conferences.

Pay scale is between $5.15 and $6.25 per hour.
Student Supervisor - Manage the building during the evenings and on weekends, including events held in Lodge 1. Serve as a liaison between groups sponsoring events and the University Centers administration. Requirements for this position include the ability to work extended hours of up to 9 hours per shift and occasional weekends. Student Supervisors are required to attend twice per year training workshops and regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Audio Visual Technicians - Technical assistants for events in the University Centers.
A/V techs are required to attend training twice a year and monthly staff meetings. Experience with Sound & Lighting or advance computer skills are prerequisites for employment in this position.

Information Desk Assistants - Manage the Information Desk and disseminate
information about events held on Campus.

Candy Desk Cashier - Manage the Candy Desk at the Campus Center and serve as a cashier
and information resource.

UC Games Attendant - Manage the UC Game Area in the Downstrairs Lobby of the UC.

Student Set Crew - Responsible for set up and tear down of events occuring in the University Centers. Requirements for this position include the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work a flexible schedule.
