Several courses in the
Williamsburg
Area are utilized for Intercollegiate Golf events. As such,
services
will vary depending on the venue for the event. If your athletes
require athletic training services before or after the match, please
make
arrangements at least 48 hours in advance. |
Nearest Safe Shelter in the Event of
Lightning
Safe shelter is defined as:
1) Any building
normally
occupied or frequently used by people that has plumbing and/or wiring
to
ground the structure
2) In the absence of
a building
as described above, any vehicle with a hard metal roof (car, van, bus,
etc) can provide a degree of safety |
Seek
shelter in the
clubhouse or pro shop at the course or utilize a vehicle for safe
shelter.
A GOLF CART IS NOT A SAFE SHELTER. |
