What are OTM (of the Month) Awards?
NRHH recognizes programs and people who work to improve our Residence
Halls through "Of the Month" (OTM) awards. The William
and Mary OTM's compete on the state, regional and possibly national
levels.
The Program OTM award is designed to recognize those programs presented
on campus that promote community service, diversity, the education
of campus residents and social interaction through hall, area, and
campus wide programs. These programs have a definite set of goals,
a positive and lasting effect and should be adaptable for use on
other campuses.
The Advisor OTM award is designed to recognize an individual who has
made outstanding contributions in the area of recognition, motivation
and support for an individual or organization.
The Executive Board Member OTM award is designed
to recognize those members of the executive boards of campus wide
organizations who have made an outstanding contribution to their
organization or campus community.
The Passive Program OTM is designed to recognize
all forms of passive programs, such as bulletin boards.
The Resident Advisor OTM is for those Residential Advisors who have made outstanding contributions to campus and residence hall activities, excelled in programming and significantly interacted with residents. This award is designed to recognize and honor those who far above and beyond what is required of them in order to make their residence hall a better place to live.
The Spotlight OTM is designed to recognize those
for whom the existing Of The Month categories do no apply. For example,
one could nominate an Area Director of the Month using this category.
The Student OTM award is designed to recognize those student who have made outstanding contributions on and around their campus.
The Organization OTM award is designed to recognize an outstanding residence life organization (such as RHA, NRHH Chapter, RA Council, or Hall Council).
