The Monitor is the journal of international studies at the College of William and Mary. Our aim is to promote and publish undergraduate work that contributes a new perspective to multicultural understanding. We are an interdisciplinary publication dedicated to serving an increasingly interdependent world.

Welcome to the online version of the Monitor.

Submissions should be sent to monitr@wm.edu as attachments, in Word, WordPerfect or as Rich Text Files.  All papers should be doubled-spaced and preserved on disk.  The editors will consider all submissions received.

The opinions expressed in the articles in this journal are strictly those of the authors and do not reflect the opinions of the Monitor or its staff.
