Happy Summer!
If you are an admitted student, welcome to William and Mary! We would love to see you at our meetings in the Fall. Any questions you have can be emailed to Leslie (view the officers page for her email).
Not too much news to report. The LSA-ers who are in town are enjoying better parking on campus and shorter lines at Sno-to-go. Otherwise, it's been a quiet summer.
God Bless!

As Leslie's email said, if you're going to beach week, a $100 check made out to the Lutheran Student Association that is placed in the envelope in the College Room before May 10 would be most excellent (and required!)
Being in the thick of finals, I thought I'd pass this prayer for students along. It's attributed to Thomas Aquinas.
Creator of all things, true source of Light and Wisdom, lofty source of all Being, graciously let a ray of Your Brilliance penetrate into the darkness of my understanding and take from me the double darkness in which I have been born, sin and ignorance.
Give me a sharp sense of understanding , a retentive memory, and the ability to grasp things correctly and fundamentally.
Grant me the talent of being exact in my explanations, and the ability to express myself with thoroughness and charm.
Point out the beginning, direct the progress, help in the completion.
Through Christ our Lord.

The walk is April 8 and 9 at Busch Field! See you there!
Thanks for your support!

Welcome to the inaugural edition of That LSA Guy, an occasional feature in which we will ask probing questions of a LSA member (based on the Flat Hat's That Guy/Girl column). First up: Josh!
1. Year and Major Sophomore/Philosophy and Government
2. What is one event or thing that made you proud to be at W&M? Our nomination of Sandra Day O'Connor for Chancellor.
3. What's the coolest church service you've ever been to? A youth group service at summer camp a few years ago.
4. Tell me one book that most people probably haven't read that we should. Miracles, by CS Lewis; it's really fascinating and thought-provoking.
5. What's your favorite US city and why? Columbus, Ohio; it's where I grew up, it has a lot of fun stuff to do and see, and it's absolutely amazing during the winter.
6. Name a special/obscure talent that we don't know about. Remembering random details.
7. What's the strangest place you've ever been? My experience has been kind of bland, but I'd have to say that the strangest place I've ever been to is Lubbock, Texas.
8. Tell me one cool song (current) or composer (current or classical) that you can't get enough of... Either Keith Urban or Lone Star.
9. What is one job you'd like to have for just one day, and one day only? Maybe a military strategist, because I've always been interested in large-scale tactical stuff.
10. What's a Bible verse you've been pondering recently? Phillipians 4:13 ("I can do all things through him who strengthens me.")
11. If you've seen it, what is your favorite line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail? "Look, strange women lying on their backs in ponds handing out swords ... that's no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony."
12. Tell us a time that you were especially proud of being a Christian. I heard the story about why Bulgarian Jews were never sent to the death camps during World War II, and was proud to hear that church leaders formed an important part of the resistance to the deportation of Jews.
13. Favorite place on campus? If it counts, Wawa. If not, probably either Blair or the Sharpe study room in Spotswood.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, so there will be no LSA study break at 9:00pm. St. Stephen's Ash Wednesday service begins at 7:30, with a potluck dinner beforehand. Bible Study may or may not happen... stay tuned to the listserv for more information.
Also, please remember to vote on a t-shirt design by the end of this week (consult Leslie's email from Sunday).
Over spring break, talk up LSA's Relay for Life team, so that we can meet our fundraising goal! If you have questions, ask Deanna!
