Recruitment
Each fall, Kappa Delta participates in a formal recruitment process with other sororities on campus. Recruitment gives potential new members a chance to interact one on one with William and Mary Kappa Deltas and to learn what being a sister is really about. Recruitment typically takes place over the second and third weekends following the start of classes. This year recruitment begins on Friday September 2nd. The first 2 days consist of visiting all 10 sororities and and talking with the sisters. The third day is Philanthropy Day, during which Kappa Deltas get to share the various philanthropic activies sisters participate in throughout the semester, explain the campus-wide excitment of our Shamrock Event and share a craft that potential new members can make and donate to our local girl scout troop. The fourth day is skit day, which is a chance for potential new members to sit back and enjoy the sisters singing, dancing, and sharing experiences about being in Kappa Delta. This year we are proud to annouce that we will be revealing an entirely new skit! The fifth day is called Pref Night and it is a chance for the sisters to share the more personal and emotional side of being a Kappa Delta. Finally, the 6th day is bid day, which consists of a grand celebration in the sunken gardens as new members are greeted with much love and excitment. Kappa Deltas are proud of their highly involved new member education program which takes place during first 2 months of fall semester.

Registration closes September 2nd. Click here for more information.
