A Few Minutes of Your Time Could Save Another’s Life
Welcome to the 16th annual Alan Bukzin Memorial Bone Marrow Drive at the College of William and Mary. It is the largest campus drive in the nation and winner of the first annual National Marrow Donor Program Collegiate Award.
On Drive Day last year, there were over 1,000 new individuals tested and entered into the National Marrow Donor Registry! Hopefully, many of these people will one day be matches and able to give the gift of life! Last year we added a Williamsburg Community Drive and the Hampton College Drive in addition to our long standing campus drive. Our new drives allow us to enter a record number of minorities into the registry. Minorities are severely underrepresented in the registry, and it is our goal this year to build on last year’s success and change that.
