A Discussion with Kyrgyz Ambassador to the United States and Canada Zamira B. Sydykova

On Tuesday, November 25, 2008, Associate Professor Paula Pickering and the Program students went to the Kyrgyzstan Embassy for a meeting with the Kyrgyz Ambassador to the United States and Canada, Zamira B. Sydykova.  In this intimate setting, they discussed Kyrgyzstan's efforts to establish civil institutions and the rule of law after the collapse of the former Soviet Union and various internal conflicts.
