How to Apply

Now Accepting Proposals

(Recently Released RFP)

Faculty may complete proposals entirely online!

Using the online application system, faculty will be able to submit all relevant proposal details in one place. Once you begin, you will be able to save your work and return to it at any time.

The online application consists of four major parts:
  1. The Online Application: Create a profile, complete a personal information section, and upload a C.V.
  2. Proposed Topic and Course Details: Describe your overall theme, the two courses you plan to teach, and upload sample syllabi.
  3. Potential Internship Sites and Internship Course Description: List potential internship sites that match your theme and describe your internship coursework.   Please note: You do not have to research which organizations actually take interns, or which institutions would be willing to work with us - simply state the names of sites that would match your theme.
  4. Department Chair Approval: Once you complete your proposal, a link will be sent to your department chair so that he/she may approve your absence while teaching in the Program.  Please note: We encourage you to speak with your Department Chair prior to submitting your proposal.
