As a pole vaulter throughout my childhood, I always had cameras around to capture my event and study the technical aspects of my sport. This led to a love of all things video and technology. Once I arrived at Virginia Tech to pole vault, the only field I wanted to study was media and how to use it to reach an audience. While studying film at Virginia Tech, I learned many creative aspects of videography and how to use short form media to really reach out and make a point.
Upon graduating, I started working as a media guru for the Virginia Tech Schiffert Health Center, while also freelancing as a videographer and editor for local businesses. The freelance work helped steer me more toward my passion of creative videography which in turn is why I wanted to come tell stories at William & Mary.
I am always keeping up with the latest camera tech and striving to figure out how to get impossible shots. We want to show and tell stories in ways that you have never seen before!
When I am not holding a camera or sitting in the edit bay, I am at home hanging out with my wife and son, or out at the track coaching the Tribe pole vaulters!
