Confidential Resources for students: The Haven

Students who are not sure whether they want to make a complaint or report are encouraged to seek help from the HavenThe Haven is a peer-based confidential resource center for those impacted by sexual violence and harassment, relationship violence, stalking, and other gender-based discrimination.

Avalon provides shelter and support to those experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. Avalon's team of trained advocates are available to speak with you confidentially 24/7. 

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors (Newport News):24 Hour Hotline 757-236-5260
The Center provides support, treatment and advocacy for anyone affected by sexual or domestic violence.  The Center responds, confidentially, 24 hours a day 7 days a week to the needs of survivors providing crisis intervention and referrals to community resources.

Free counseling sessions are available for employees through the Employee Assistance Program.

Employees may use the Online Community Database provided by the William & Mary Counseling Center to locate a mental health provider in the area.
