The deadline for summer 2017 awards is February 15, 2017.

Meyers-Stern Summer Scholarships provide up to $4000 for summer study or research in Judaic Studies. Because some programs (e.g., internships) may need several months’ advance planning, students should meet with a faculty member from Judaic Studies as early as possible to discuss summer research opportunities.

Academic Year Scholarships

Meyers-Stern Academic Year Scholarships provide up to $10,000 per semester for students spending a semester or full academic year enrolled in a Judaic or Jewish Studies program. Although grants will normally be awarded for university studies, students may undertake semester- or year-long research supervised by a W&M faculty member or by other institutions.  Applications for semester and academic year grants are due November 4 for the spring semester and April 15 for the fall or following full academic year.
