Compliance Certification

SACSCOC Compliance Certification

The SACSCOC Compliance Certification is the documentation demonstrating our judgment of the extent of our compliance with each of the Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards, and Federal Requirements in the Principles of Accreditation:  Foundations for Quality Enhancement (2012 edition, http://www.sacscoc.org/principles.asp).  The Certification is submitted in late summer prior to our scheduled reaffirmation.

Compliance Assist

W&M has purchased a license for a software package called Compliance Assist (CA) to help organize and present the Compliance Certification and all supporting documentation to the SACSCOC review team.  CA is web-based and allows for collaborative editing by key personnel across the university.

Compliance Assist is compatible with Firefox, Internet Explorer (version 9), and Google Chrome. The Safari browser is not recommended for use when working in Compliance Assist. (Please note that if using Google Chrome, the Chrome PDF View plugin is not compatible when referencing specific pages in Document Directory Sources.  You must use the Adobe PDF Viewer.)

Use the URL below to log into Compliance Assist using your current W&Muserid and Password (the same used for accessing all W&M network sites and resources). You may click on the link below or copy and paste the URL into your browser and proceed to log in.

We highly recommend you do not bookmark the Compliance Assist site because it contains an authenticated login page. Unless your browser is set to delete all browsing history upon closing, bookmarking the authenticated login page often results in an error because of the page’s security, and will not allow a user to pass through the system.

Training & Resources: Blackboard

The Blackboard site serves as a training guide and resource for using Compliance Assist (CA). This site also contains the schedule for planning and completion of the Certification and the review and visitation process, and serves as a forum for communication, collaboration, and discussion as we prepare our Compliance Certification for submission in August, 2015.

You may access Blackboard through http://my.wm.edu, click on the Blackboard icon, and enter your current W&M Userid and Password (the same used for accessing all W&M network sites and resources).
