George Greenia Research Fellowship in Pilgrimage Studies

The Institute for Pilgrimage Studies is pleased to offer the George Greenia Research Fellowship in Pilgrimage Studies to members of the Consortium for Pilgrimage Studies.  The fellowship provides funding for faculty and/or graduate students to support original scholarship on pilgrimage or travel for transformation. This fellowship is funded by private donations to a special fund that the Institute has set up for this purpose. The fellowship has been named in honor of our padrón and founder, Professor George Greenia of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at The College of William & Mary, whose unceasing energy, devotion to his students, outstanding scholarship and above all, good humor, have made possible all the activities in which the Institute is engaged today.
