After their successful applications presented to the October, 2015 PBK Triennial Council in Denver, in spring, 2016 new chapters of PBK were installed at the Univ. of Houston (Houston, Texas main campus), Mercer Univ. (Macon, Georgia) and Oregon State Univ. (Corvallis, Oregon). These campuses bring to 286 the colleges and universities that shelter faculty-led chapters of Phi Beta Kappa. Over 19,000 new undergraduate members are inducted every year nation wide. Detailed news releases are available on each school's website: click on the hot links above. Continuing its warmly received tradition, Alpha Chapter at William & Mary presented each new sheltering institution a keepsake Colonial WIlliamsburg tavern mug as an inaugural gift for their chapter's display case and archive.
