New College Employees

Dear New Employee:

On behalf of the Hourly and Classified Employees Association (HACE), I welcome you to the College of William and Mary!

I am sure you will soon discover that the College is a great place to work, make new friends, and further your professional growth and development. HACE, a professional organization for hourly and classified employees, is committed to helping you in all of these areas.

HACE holds brown bag luncheon meetings on the second Tuesday of each month from 12 noon to 1 pm. These meetings provide you with an opportunity to network, learn about the College community, and share valuable experiences. A guest speaker is usually featured. A few of the topics from this past year included:

• An overview of the Virginia General Assembly Legislative Session
• Tips from the American Heart Association
• Introduction to the University Ombuds
• The new W&M website and creating a personal website
