For Prospective Fellows
The DC Summer Institutes allow undergraduate student fellows to combine classroom and experiential learning while seeing the dynamic institutions of the Washington, DC area firsthand. Participating fellows receive extensive help in finding an internship and counseling on how to succeed in that internship.
Applications for the 2013 Summer Institutes will be released in mid-September.

- The 2012 National Security Institute will be taught by Visiting Assistant Professor Elizabeth Grimm Arsenault.
- The 2012 New Media Institute will be taught by the Director of Literary and Cultural Studies/Film Studies and Professor of Hispanic Studies Ann Marie Stock.
- The 2012 Community Engagement Institute will be taught by Executive Assistant Professor and Director of Community Engagement Drew Stelljes.
