2010
- The inaugural classes of the DC Summer Institutes (2010) consisted of two cohorts, the National Security Institute and the Global Business Institute.
- The National Security Institute participated in a two-week intensive course taught by Dr. Arsenault and followed by a 10-week summer internship in the Washington, D.C. area.
- The Global Business Institute participated in a two-week intensive course taught by Dr. Rahtz and Dr. Adkins and followed by a 9-week summer internship in the Washington, D.C. area.
The two-week intensive courses balance time between the classroom, guest speakers, and site visits at relevant locations to the coursework being taught in class. These experiences give fellows practical meaning to the theories and readings taught in class.
