Lianghao Liu (刘梁好) joined the Confucius Institute at the College of William & Mary as a Volunteer Teacher in July 2017. She is currently a graduate student at Beijing Normal University, majoring in English Translation and Interpreting. During her study at BNU, she worked as a student assistant at the Office of Confucius Institute Affairs. Lianghao gained hands-on teaching experience by teaching English at Beijing New Oriental School. She improved her cross-cultural communication skills during cultural exchanges to Singapore, the US, and Canada. Dedicated to promoting Chinese culture internationally, Lianghao has been trained extensively by Hanban in teaching Chinese language and traditional arts, such as Taiji, traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, paper-cutting, etc. Her special interest lies in Changquan, which is a form of traditional Chinese martial arts.
