Check out the following events taking place during Sexual Assault Awareness Week 2008, March 31st-April 4th! Come visit our table every day that week from 11-1 or 5-7 in the Campus Center Lobby to help decorate our banner or to pick up more information on how you can help end sexual assault on our campus. Join Kinesiology Professor Robert Horvath as he teaches a practical approach to self-defense through empowerment and confidence building.


Thursday, April 3th Take Back the Night

University Center Terrace, 6PM

(Rain Location: UC Commonwealth Auditorium)

Take Back the Night 2008 will feature a talk by a survivor of sexual assault and former W&M student, a rally and a march, booths run by student groups, and more! The night will end with a Candlelight Vigil in the Crim Dell Amphitheater.


Join The Red Flag Campaign at William and Mary!

In October, W&M will be one of 16 Virginia colleges and universities to launch The Red Flag Campaign which is designed to help students recognize "red flags" of unhealthy relationships and help a friend in that situation. The Office of Sexual Assault Services is looking for organizations who would like to join The Red Flag Campaign by helping hang posters, distribute information, or host discussions.
