Located in the heart of beautiful Old Campus, Taliaferro Hall (pronounced "Tolliver") is across the street from the historic Wren Building. Taliaferro is named after Major General William Booth Taliaferro alumnus of the college. It is conveniently situated next to the Campus Center, which houses one of the campus dining facilities, and near Old Campus academic buildings. A small, co-ed hall, Taliaferro offers a close community to building residents. Taliaferro's 49 first- year residents live on three floors, with hall bathrooms on each floor. There is one air-conditioned lounge on the first floor mainly used for socializing. A smaller "lounge", located adjacent to the main one, provides a nice study area. A kitchen and a laundry room are also located on the main floor.
