Apartment Council
Apartment Council is your chance, as Graduate Complex residents, to make your voice heard on community-wide policies, programs, and the purchase of new Gradplex equipment. Apartment Council is a great way to get involved and to have a say in how those dues are spent!

Technically, Apartment Council is the active interpretation of the College's principle of self-determination. Self-determination means that members of a residential unit participate in the development of guidelines and procedures of self-governance, which will allow for both individual freedom and the privacy and personal rights of others in the community.Graduate Complex residents exercise this responsibility of self-governance through their building representatives on the Apartment Council. Through this vehicle, residents of the Complex have the opportunity to develop guidelines pertaining to safety, security and the maintenance of a clean and pleasant apartment community for all residents. The Apartment Council also upholds its fiduciary responsibility to residents through the sound management of Apartment Council funds.

Any resident of the Graduate Complex who has paid his/her annual Apartment Council dues can become a voting member of the Apartment Council. Contact the Complex Director or your GRA when you arrive to campus for more information.
