Overcrowd Selection will be held: Wednesday, April 2, 2008 beginning at 5:30p.m. in Campus Center, Little Theatre. We will begin with men at 5:30pm and women will begin at 6:00pm.

What is Overcrowd Selection:

• One of the first phases of Room Selection consists of the Overcrowd selection process.  Students interested in choosing an overcrowd room come to the Campus Center, Little Theatre on April 2 beginning at 5:30 pm. We will begin with male overcrowd selection at 5:30 followed by female overcrowd selection at 6:00.

• Just as in regular the regular room selection process, students choose overcrowd rooms based on the best time block in the group (students wishing to room together).  But different from regular Room Selection, students who are including one bumped student in their group pick ahead of any groups that do not include a bumped student.

Note on Overcrowd Designations:
Because bumped female students are typically reinstated much more rapidly than male students, the gender designations for overcrowd rooms may be adjusted immediately before room selection in order to offer more male overcrowd housing.

Overcrowding is a strategy that can assist a bumped friend or give more students with "later" time blocks a room on main campus!
