Deborah B. Baum
Class of '81
Ms. Baum received her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary in 1981. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1983.
Ms. Baum is a partner in Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman's Litigation group. She has handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters in the state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Baum has significant experience in complex real estate-related disputes, health care litigation, lender liability cases, zoning appeals and constitutional litigation. In 2004, she was named by Washington Business Journal as one of the four top commercial litigators in the Metropolitan Washington DC region in that publication's "Top Washington Lawyers" edition.
