A Tradition of Public and Community Service

The College of William and Mary has a long standing commitment to public and community service. In its original design Williamsburg was host to the Colonial capital and the only institution of higher learning in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Over three centuries later, the College and the City of Williamsburg continue to be partners in one another’s success.
