Holidays Observed During the 2007-08 Academic Year and Religious Holidays 2007- 2008
Monday 3 September - Labor Day (classes will be in session)
Wednesday 21 November - Day Before Thanksgiving
Thursday 22 November - Thanksgiving Day
Friday 23 November - Day After Thanksgiving
Friday 21 December - The College closes at 12:00 noon for the Holiday Break
Monday 24 December - Day Before Christmas
Tuesday 25 December - Observance of Christmas Day
Tuesday 1 January - New Year's Day
Monday 21 January - Martin Luther King Day (classes are cancelled)
Monday 28 May - Memorial Day (classes will NOT be in session)
There are four state holidays which the College does not observe on the actual date: Lee-Jackson Day; George Washington's Birthday; Columbus Day/Yorktown Victory Day; and Veteran's Day. These four state holidays will be added to the Christmas break. They will be observed on 26, 27, 28 and 31 December.
