The Camelot Cluster is a Linux workstation cluster available to students, faculty and visitors. The machine & instrument shop has provided machining and design services to the scientific community for 35 years. The majority of our work has been associated with physics research at William and Mary, but we have designed and built equipment for groups in many fields of scientific research. The physics library is located in a wing of Small Hall, containing an extensive collection of journals and books. SciClone is a heterogeneous cluster computing system designed to support a variety of activities in Computational Science at the College of William and Mary. The Center conducts research into the theoretical prediction and experimental realization of new piezoelectric materials. The Center operates a large cluster of Alpha and Itanium2 computers.
