
Departmental Awards
E.G. Clark Memorial Scholarship:
An annual scholarship to a rising senior, with a concentration in physics, who has demonstrated an outstanding aptitude for the study of physics with two letters of recommnedation. Awarded
in the spring semester.
The Don Edward Harrison Jr. Award for Excellence in Physics:
To be awarded to the senior(s) with the highest demonstrated achievement in physics. The selection will be made by the undergraduate committee at the end of the fall
semester, based on the entire academic record, the preliminary oral and written presentations of the senior research project, and two letters of recommendation.
The Alumni Research Prize:
To be awarded to the senior(s) with the highest demonstrated achievement in physics research. Performance in classes will not be a criterion. Awarded in the spring
semester, funded by the Alumni Association.
Physics Undergraduate Research Prize:
Same as the Alumni Research Prize, but awarded by the Physics Department in years when the Alumni Prize is not available.
