Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Theoretical Hadronic Physics

The Department of Physics at the College of William and Mary (W&M) and the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) seek a theoretical physicist specializing in hadron theory, including the fields of perturbative and nonperturbative QCD, hadron structure  physics, and lattice QCD, to fill a tenure-track faculty position.
The W&M Department of Physics, where the appointee would be a regular faculty member, currently has 29 full-time faculty, approximately 60 PhD graduate students, and a substantial number of undergraduate  majors who actively participate in its various research programs.
The JLab Theory Group, where the appointee would be a senior staff  member, currently consists of thirteen permanent senior members (eight of whom have joint appointments at neighboring PhD-granting universities), postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. The candidate would be expected to initiate and maintain a strong research program, seek external funding, and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants should send a curriculum vitae and statement of research interests, and have three letters of recommendation sent, to:
