Established in 1971, as the Publications Council, newly named the Media Council in 2014, this group is authorized to provide guidance and financial supervision for undergraduate and graduate student media.
The Council is comprised of twenty-three media members, which are listed below. Each member has one vote on matters relating to the Council, primarily for budgetary reasons and accepting new members. An at-large faculty member is also included as a voting member of the Council.
The Associate Director of the Office of Student Leadership Development is an ex-offico, non-voting member of the Council, and will work closely with the Chair on establishing agendas throughout the year. The Student Fee Program Administrator works directly with each individual media member on contractual and budgetary matters.
