Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS)
Looking for something exciting and fun to do this summer? Apply to the PLUS program. This summer's Program dates are July 16, 2011 through July 23, 2011. The purpose of the PLUS program is to provide a summer experience between high school and college life. PLUS provides an intensive introduction to academic life at William and Mary, providing participants with the opportunity to interact with some of our most disdinguished faculty members here at William and Mary. Students will engage in mock class sessions, while also gaining invaluable insight from professors and current students about being holistically successful at the College. Participants will also be provided the opportunity to become familiar with numerous campus resources, including the Career Center and the Writing Center. PLUS also provides a great opportunity to meet other incoming and current William and Mary students, beginning that all-important process of networking and community-building. PLUS is sponsored by the College. Therefore, your decision to attend the College of William and Mary provides you the opportunity to participate in the program. Application information will become available in May.
