Employment

The Sadler Center and Campus Center are open year-round, and we rely on our student employees to maintain operations!  We actively recruit every March for new employees to begin in the summer and Fall.  We also accept applications throughout the year and will contact you if there are any positions open.

Pay scale is $7.25 - $8.25 per hour.

Student Supervisor

Manage the building during the evenings and on weekends, including events held in Lodge 1. Serve as a liaison between groups sponsoring events and the Sadler Center administration. Requirements for this position include the ability to work extended hours of up to 9 hours per shift and occasional weekends. Student Supervisors are required to attend twice per year training workshops and regularly scheduled staff meetings.  For more information contact [[cvanveen, Casey Van Veen]] at (757) 221-1356.

Audio Visual Technicians

Technical assistants for events in the Sadler Center and Campus Center. A/V techs are required to attend training twice a year and monthly staff meetings. Information Desk Assistants

Manage the Information Desk and disseminate information about events held on Campus.  For more information contact [[smbak1, Sherry Baker]] at (757) 221-3433.

Candy Desk Cashier

Manage the Candy Desk at the Campus Center and serve as a cashier and information resource.  For more information contact [[bltyle, Beverly Tyler]] at (757) 221- 3435.

UC Games Attendant

Manage the Games Area in the Downstairs Lobby of the SC.  For more information contact [[cvanveen, Casey Van Veen]] at (757) 221-1356.

Student Set Crew

Responsible for set up and tear down of events occurring in the Sadler Center and Campus Center. Requirements for this position include the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work a flexible schedule.  For more information contact [[rmtho2, Richard Thompson]] at (757) 221-3432.
