Studied Abroad: La Plata, Argentina
I am a senior from Nazareth, Pennsylvania majoring in Public Policy and Latin American Studies. I had an amazing experience studying abroad in Argentina, and I hope to help other students have similar opportunities to stretch themselves, practice new languages, develop independence, and be exposed to truly different worldviews and living conditions. I will bring my interest in other cultures and my desire to empower students to SASAB, where I hope to help other students to see how their interests relate to study abroad options.

Studied Abroad: Lille, France
I am a senior from Miami, Florida majoring in International Relations and Psychology. I transferred to the college from Virginia Tech after my freshman year. I study languages in my free time. Currently, I'm learning some German and Arabic. I love being immersed in foreign cultures and am constantly expanding my world view. I hope to help students find the study abroad program that's right for them, and improve the already amazing life changing experiences for students studying abroad in the future. After graduating, I plan to move to Germany to work in international security and crisis management.

Studied Abroad: Bangalore and Goa, India
I am a sophomore from Taiwan majoring in Sociology, with a concentration on Criminology, Law, and Society. I decided fairly last minute to study abroad, but it was one of my best decisions. I had an incredible and fruitful experience learning about social issues such as the caste system and labor struggles, while interacting with local public policy students from the National Law School in Bengaluru and activists from grassroots organizations. On the other hand, living in a foreign country also made me realize that there are areas and logistics of programs that can improve. For this reason, I decided to join the Study Abroad Student Advisory Board. I want to make study abroad an enriching and pleasant experience for everyone.

I joined SASAB to promote the advantages and great experiences that come with studying abroad. By studying abroad, I not only learned more about a beautiful country, but also more about myself.

Studied Abroad: Bangalore and Goa, India
I am a junior from New York City majoring in Government and Religious Studies, two areas that were particularly relevant to my study abroad in India. I spent my time abroad learning about the culture, immersing myself in the experience, and taking classes with William and Mary affiliated professors. It was an absolutely amazing and enriching trip. I highly recommend studying abroad because of the breadth of experiences and knowledge it can provide. I enjoy helping students find experiences that fit their goals and interests.

Studied Abroad: Bangalore and Goa, India and St. Andrews, Scotland
I am a senior from Fairfax, Virginia majoring in English and Economics.  Cultural engagement has been one of the most important and consistent aspects of my time at the College, even separate from study abroad through the classes I’ve taken and the relationships I’ve made.  Study abroad, at one end or another, has been part of some of my fondest memories as a student here, so as a member of SASAB, I hope to help other have the important kinds of experiences I have had.
