International Peer Leaders
During each international orientation program, enthusiastic student volunteers are selected to serve as International Peer Leaders. These peer leaders mentor a group of graduate or undergraduate new international students, answering questions before their arrival, and guiding them through the international orientation process.
Peer leaders give new students a student contact at William & Mary, and introduce them to campus from a student perspective. They staff check-in, lead shopping trips and other events, and lead their groups during orientation. The advice and support the peer leaders give to new students is invaluable- they provide one of the most important parts of welcoming our new students!
